CARTOON WORKSHOP

Children age 7-12 join Express Yourself Studios for a two-hour cartoon workshop (6:00pm - 8:00pm). Participants will create a comic strip featuring a superhero/heroin of their own concept. Looking at examples from current cartoons such as Batman, Spiderman, Ben 10, Pokémon, Bakugan, Sponge Bob, Looney Tunes, and more, children will learn the fundamentals of cartooning and graphic story-telling, along with its earliest beginnings and influence upon the art world at large.
Pizza will be included and the budding cartoonist will leave with a four-panel comic strip to bring home at the end of the workshop. $20 per person. Reserve your space today.
